I had an excellent general wellness exam w/ vaccinations here! We saw Dr. Zulty and it was the most comprehensive wellness exam I've had since getting my dog about four years ago. My dog is a senior gal, and I greatly appreciated Dr. Zulty's attention to detail in assessing her.

Animal Medical Review In February of this year, I had to make the decision that ALL pet owners dread... to let my pet pass. I knew I wanted a calm, soothing, low lighted, comfortable environment, so I called around with my list of needs to find the perfect fit. Animal Medical Hospital and Urgent Care said that they had all that I was looking for. I could even pay ahead to save the emotional stress of having to do it "afterwards". They even have a "rear private entrance" available. Unfortunately, this is NOT the care we received. Upon our arrival late in the evening, we couldn't find the "rear entrance" and was finally let in through the front door. This is how the evenings events transpired. 1. I was NOT allowed to pay ahead. 2. We were led to a BRIGHT exam room with a bench seat. When I asked about the "comfort room" the tech was unaware of such a room. 3. Our pet was taken back to put in the IV and was returned with a BLANKET to lay on and the IV dangling. We had brought our pets blanket with us. 4. The Vet came in and was very sympathetic and tried to explain what would happen during the process. "When you're ready" we were told. Our pet was stressed off the charts even with the "sedative" they said they administered. She wouldn't lay down or relax. So we begged the vet to please help us. Our precious girl eventually collapsed in my arms and continued to fight. In a few moments... she was gone. Condolences were given, the tech returned with the bill and said they were going to bring in the cart to remove her. I said NO! I actually screamed, THAT'S why I wanted to pay ahead!! She asked if we wanted to wait for the free paw print and I again said NO... I'd come back. We left in tears to say the least A few days later, I tried to schedule the pick up for Zee's paw print. I was told It wasn't back yet. So I asked, then why was I asked on the DAY, if I wanted to WAIT for it?? That's when I asked to speak with the office manager. She returned my call and said she would review the video and get back to me. A couple days later, she called and said she was "mortified with the way our visit was handled and she was extremelydisappointedin her team!" She offered me a full refund and her apologies. She said she would call me as soon as she found the paw print. Well........... she couldn't find my baby's paw print. And she couldn't even guarantee that it had EVEN BEEN DONE!! The tears and heart break that we have been through is unimaginable. Now I know, "mistakes happen" and "no one is perfect" but THIS seems inexcusable. This was to most HORRIFIC experience I have EVER been through with the passing of one of my fur babies. And I felt the need to tell everyone. Make your own decision for your final goodbye with your furry loved one. But please... think twice before using Animal Medical for these types of services. I thought I had done my due diligence and research to ensure my baby would be safe and cared for. I was mistaken... Our babies deserve BETTER! Update - The office manager was VERY helpful!

Our dog's health was declining so we reached out to Animal Medical Hospital to discuss end of life plans. They were extremely kind and caring and sent us a document to rate various aspects of his life. That document helped us quantify his quality of life and was really helpful in annotating the sharp decline he took towards the end. When it was painfully obvious that it was time to say goodbye we reached back out to Animal Medical Hospital. They informed us of the process for how to go about euthanizing him and we drove there later that evening. Animal Medical Hospital handled the whole situation with grace and compassion from the initial check-in procedures in the isolated room with a private entrance to the moment we had to say goodbye. Dustin and Dr. Thomas were compassionate and sincere during this difficult time. We even received a handwritten card in the mail from Dr. Thomas two days later. Compared to the last time when we had to euthanize our other dog at a different facility, our experience at Animal Medical Hospital was vastly superior. When you unfortunately have to go through this process, I highly recommend Animal Medical Hospital.

Worst experience of my life I have a German shepherd who can be aggressive but is loosing weight fast. I talked to 2 doctors Dr Flood cant remember the other ones but you can tell that they were put out and didnt want to do anything to help. First of all, you always want to set things up for a success and not be confrontational with the customer in time of dire need. They knew that they could send me a prescription, but they didnt. They wait till I got there and then called us out on Declans aggression. When I spoke up for Declan she told me that I was be unreasonable and confrontational. So they sent us off and we are on our own again with no help in site. Please be prepared to be a problem if your dog has any aggression. Being a vet you would think that they could solve issues not make them. Extremely displeased.

My dog was prescribed amoxicillin but actually given gabapentin in the pill bottle. I gave one tab and then noticed the pill didn't match what was on the label/instructions. I was instructed to bring the medication back so they could get me the right one. When I arrived, reception immediately had the correct medication waiting and tried to just hand it off expecting me to leave. There was no apology at all. I asked to speak to the doctor to make sure there were no adverse reactions. A technician came out and apologized but that is it. I had to ask if my dog would be okay and why this happened in the first place. I only noticed the mistake because I am a pharmacy technician. I understand mistakes happen however it would have been nice for the vet to show concern for my pet. No one even asked to exam her to make sure she was okay. The doctor did call me after I got home to apologize. Unfortunately I will not be coming here again. I'd also like to point out the prices here are ridiculously expensive. The same meds are available at petco for $10. I was charged $50.
