        I filed my taxes in March of this year, had to do an amendment the next day or so, I still have not gotten my refunds from Federal or State, close to $1700. They charged an additional $125 for the amendment and I was told due to the amendment I'd be getting a paper check refund. It's been over 3 months and I've gotten nothing. I'll never use these people again and would advise others not to either. It doesn't take over 3 months to get a refund just because you have to file an amendment. Ridiculous. And charge me additional money after my initial payment of $300? Unacceptable.

      Unfortunately, IRS processing times for amendments are very slow and not in our control. In the link below you will see that processing times take up to 16 weeks.https://www.irs.gov/faqs/irs-procedures/amended-returns-form-1040x/amended-returns-form-1040x-3#:~:text=As%20a%20reminder%2C%20amended%20returns,tells%20you%20to%20do%20so.Here is a link from the Washington Post about extended times as well:https://www.washingtonpost.com/business/2023/03/22/amended-tax-return-irs/Over the past two to three years we have seen amendments take over a year to process. I apologize for the delay but we do everything in our power to expedite the process, and some things are out of our control.
