Trigger warning: this experience left me in tears. I arrived on time for my 2 p.m. scheduled appointment time on April 18, 2023. Upon arriving, I was told that I needed to wait to start my appointment. Mind you, I had my six month old baby with me. I then proceeded to wait 45 minutes to begin my appointment. Once I was called back, instead of being patient while gathering my documents, the tax preparer Karthika Jagadeesh told me to go back to the lobby, and she proceeded to call the next person during my appointment slot. She told me that this would only take around 20 minutes to assist this person, but I ended up waiting until 4 p.m. At this point, she had a 4 p.m. appointment and chose to ask her 4 p.m. "permission" to meet with me before seeing them. They became irrate and she chose to proceed with their appointment versus finishing my 2 p.m. appointment. She ended up meeting with this client for another two hours before they suggested that I go home to take care of my baby who started to get frustrated after waiting this long time with me. She promised me that she would have my tax return done when I came back. Once I did come back, she mentioned that she had prioritized other clients rather than beginning and completing my 2 p.m. appointment. Once we finally did sit down after almost 6 hours of me waiting, I was rushed by not only her but also one of the other tax preparers named James Galley who said "You need to go ahead and hurry and wrap this up." I left this experience feeling neglected, not valued, not prioritized. They wasted my entire day because they continuously prioritized later appointment times over me, and it left me in tears as a postpartum mom. Safe to say, this was a horrible experience and I will not be returning to this company again. The professionalism was nonexistent.
