The fish and chips entree was probably the best version of fish and chips that Ive had! The dynamite shrimp was also fantastic! Ill definitely be back

The lobster was fresh and good. But for $30, including tip. The portion was very very small. I did not taste the garlic butter at all. I just tasted normal butter. And the presentation was kind of like they just threw my lobster roll together which sucked after a 20 min ticket time. This is NOT TO shame, the staff, because there was only one person on the register, and one person on the grill on a very busy day. So they were obviously understaffed. But if Im paying $30 for a bite-size sandwich, I would want to at least have flavor, and we presented nicely. And not have lobster just on the plate that they didnt put into the bun. The saving grace is that the lobster was so fresh, and so delicious. But my bun was not toasted at all, and there was shell in my lobster.

First time at Monarch Market. Tried Dock Local. The person taking orders wasn't the most pleasant. Got the Local fried shrimp plate. Came with coleslaw, hand fried chips and roughly 8 medium size shrimp with a sweet drizzle and maybe a remoulade sauce. The shrimp were good but small, light fried in breadcrumbs. The drizzle got to be a bit too sweet towards the end. The coleslaw was ok, it has what tasted like parsley or kale in it which wasn't too good. I did like the crunch. I also got the crab queso which came in a small cup with more hand fried potatoes chips. I was not a fan of this. It was more like a bisque and the shards of crab just never came thru for me. Just wasn't good. I didn't finish this. The chips were also just ok. Darker and just came thru with more bitter vs fried potato. I thought the shrimp came with fries and was thrown off by the chips. All that and a drink cost almost $28, portions don't justify the cost whatsoever. It was cool to check it out but this was a sign that it will be the last visit. Better quality and pricing elsewhere.

Food was very tasty!! However the portions are TINY! The Lobster Roll is DELICIOUS. BUT please TOAST AND DROWN THE ROLL IN BUTTER (barely toasted and NOT buttery) and GIVE MORE CHIPS! The Dynamite Shrimp BABY!! 10/10!!!! DELICIOUS!!! Hot Crab Queso Dip DELICIOUS and definitely filled with crab in every bite.

I tried the lobster taco and hot crab queso. The taco was ok but the queso was amazing.
