I've been trying to get in touch with this place for weeks and have repeatedly been emailing the lady dealing with my sliding scale application, and never heard back. Very unprofessional especially when dealing with people in need of mental healthcare. I could have been spending my energy finding a therapist office that actually emails me back, but instead I wasted my time here. **Edit: I responded with my information as soon as I could obtain it, and it would have been perfectly understandable if my application was rejected because I submitted my documents late. However, I was completely ghosted and left in the dark about this. No response after multiple emails attempting to follow up on the info I submitted. I was told my emails went directly into the spam folder, so I imagine even if I had submitted my info on time, it would never have reached anyone and by the time it was seen it would have been too late anyway. I really don't think it's unreasonable to hope for timely responses to emails from a place of business.

The Center for Family & Maternal Wellness is a LGBTQ and POC owned and operated outpatient psychotherapy practice providing in-person and virtual mental health and substance use treatment in the greater Charlotte area. CFMWellness provides culturally affirming counseling to address mental health issues, NOT sexual preference or orientation. A place of comfort and respite from the stresses of daily living is offered with a warm mug of herbal tea or coffee for all clients. The clinicians are licensed in North Carolina and South Carolina and can provide care to residents of those states who are seeking individual, family, and relationship counseling to folks experiencing issues of anxiety, adjustment, depression, grief, focus, PMADs, and substance abuse. EMDR and Triple P certified. Most private insurance is accepted including EAP, Medicaid, and Medicare. Sliding fee available on a limited basis.
