Charlotte Property Management - Conrad Klein

How so badly I wish there was a negative star or an outright, "I hate this FLIPPING place." This was and from what I read, still is a horrible property management company to have as your landlord. My interactions with them began poorly. The agent that was handling my initial move in application and paperwork told me that we needed to have an "X" amount of dollars in a money order by "X" date, no problem, done. I was then called two days after said date, stating that I was in danger of losing all the money and the home we had just been approved to move into because I still owed my initial deposit. I rebuffed this claim, and the agent then went on to say that they made a mistake on their end and that I HAD to pay the difference if I still wanted the house. I would have had no issue with this had there been an apology for the mistake and given a small window of time to get them money. Instead, I had to leave work in the middle of an inventory so that my fiancee and I didn't lose the home. But no accommodations were made whatsoever. Then we were given the run around and were "gaslighted" when we made a service request. In the three years we rented, we made two, and their indifference to us cost us hundreds of dollars in excessive utilities we had to pay while operating a malfunctioning system. Was told point blank that I would be reported as a bad tenant and not get my deposit back if I were to leave a bad Google review. This company is horrendous. It was NOT just an individual that provided poor service it was every representative I had the displeasure of interacting with throughout my time with them.

The team as Conrad Klein has been very helpful to me as a landlord. This has been a challenging year to own rental property, but these guys didn't skip a beat. I fully expected multiple months of no rent collections due to Covid, but this never happened. They continued communicating with me and my tenant and kept everything on track. Thanks guys!

We rented a townhouse through this agency, unfortunately the virtual tour showed us a false impression about the condition of the place, we were moving from another state so didn't have an opportunity to see it in person, I wish we would. On the moving in day, place was very dirty and covered in yellow stains all over the place, we didn't have finances  to go anywhere else so we cleaned place and start settling in, agency put all fault on landlord, which wasn't true. In a week washer water supply start leaking so we submit a request to fix it, next day maintenance guy came and fix it but in process broke the main water valve supply, and run away, here where nightmare started, maintenance company tried to delay fixing the issue they cause as long as they can, we were without water almost a week, until landlord  called professional plumbing company without maintenance company being involved, even then they tried to mess it up and cancel plumbing company to come. If you see their name on property do not rent or buy from them! Most unprofessional people we ever had to deal with.

I have had a great experience with CK. My move in was extremely smooth. I have had minimal reasons to contact the management company, but when I have Chris has responded the same day. The one time I needed something repaired it was taken care of in less than 24 hours. Love it!
