2nd time not a charm... So to start, this was not our first time using Richard's company, they painted our luxury condo 3 years prior and we were mostly satisfied, plus my shoulder surgery allowed me to oversee the event which limited the opportunity for blunders, however they didn't remove switch and outlet covers when I wasn't in other rooms they were in. Three years later...we buy a house. Contact Richard, cordial and polite as ever, go over the work at hand, empty house except one room, discuss simple issues from the condo we'd like to improve on in the house. Paint chips explained, and the bonus, nobody living there. Should be a breeze. While I was away for work, painters commenced. I was shocked to find that after day 1, my wife had a list of things already wrong in the process, including worker's leaving personal trash behind daily and paint spilled outside that Richard blamed on someone else.. Walk through on day 4, this is 1200+sqft, found reworks in every room, not to mention paint on vanities and countertops, paint on kitchen cabinets, paint on stainless appliances and today we found paint on ceiling fan. Cut-ins done incorrectly overspray on door hardware and windows and the end result was over 5 hours of touch up and clean up and fixes.. and still I'm unsure whether 2 coats were applied to anything quoted to have 2. Richard says he's finished, I'm still away, my wife at work, we send payment. Arrive today to find bags of trash left in our garage. Can't make this up. So long story short, it feels like Richard hires less than experienced people to complete the work in hopes that things don't get seen or at best play the ask for forgiveness card. Having not met the crew, and been there while work was done, hard to say anything more other than what actually occurred. Faith and trust is gone, hopefully painting never needs to be done again. On a good note, Richard was responsive throughout, came through on fitting us into the schedule and meeting our timeliness, for that he cane up to a 3. I'm pretty sure 3rd time a charm won't be happening any time soon, sorry. Service: Interior painting
