I've never been treated in such disregard in my life. This place is poorly run and they have no compassion for their patients. I will NEVER go back there after today!

Spoke with the nurse. I explained that I was in severe pain. So severe that I didn’t sleep at all during the night. I requested something for my pain. I don’t understand why but the medication called in was one which takes time to build up in your system. In other words I won’t be sleeping tonight

This place is awful. Staff has bad attitudes and most are quite rude. They fabricate lies to cover themselves and have no compassion at all. Dr Kahn does a fair job but overall , it's a horrible experience.

This office couldn't be run more poorly if they tried. I was unable to receive a procedure today because I was never informed I would need a driver to attend with me. Their excuse is that it was printed on the back of my discharge paperwork from my first appointment, but I left that appointment in tears from how poorly I was treated, and they know that along with my pain is significant brain fog and confusion. So between those two things, I'll at least admit I didn't read the back of my discharge paperwork, but maybe I'm expecting too much to think that such an important thing would be told to me verbally. The staff is completely devoid of any compassion towards patients. I suspect that since all of their patients are in pain all the time, they have become numb to anything besides making money. The procedure I needed is one that the providers only told me I would get it and how it worked, but did not discuss any risks of the procedure with me. I had to get a second opinion just to informed by a medical professional about the procedure. Despite them being fully aware of the fact that I suffer from suicidal ideation because of how frequent and severe my pain is, they still refused to provide any kind of pain management for the month between my first appointment and the procedure. The most concern that I got was being told I could go to the ER if I decided to actually kill myself, but otherwise they had no problems leaving me to suffer for a full month. The only reason I can imagine providers being so apathetic is that they don't actually believe me when I tell them of what my symptoms are. I highly urge anyone who needs a pain management doctor to avoid this practice if you have any unreasonable expectations such as being treated with dignity, compassion, or being believed about your symptoms. If you are forced to use this office, make sure to read your discharge paperwork as the employees do not find it necessary to share important information verbally. As a direct note to the office itself- people who seek treatment in pain management are generally there when nothing else has worked. Your patients are hurting and desperate. The amount of apathy present in your office is beyond disgusting for a regular doctor's office, but to be so apathetic to patients who have tried everything else is downright deplorable. You took an oath to do no harm, and I firmly believe this office's treatment of patients violates this oath, because you have patients who you know are suffering and still won't lift a finger to help. Do no harm does not mean "do no harm to your personal bank account." The fact that your patients are desperate for some kind of pain relief after years of suffering has apparently gone to everyone's heads. You hold all the power and if any of your patients don't jump through all of your hoops, you can remorselessly throw them back into their personal pit of suffering. I highly doubt Atrium provides any kind of training for recognizing and avoiding such a huge power imbalance, because I doubt these providers are even aware of it. But the lack of awareness is no excuse. I know for a fact that the office will know exactly who is writing this review, and the office treats patients so poorly already, I have legitimate concerns that I will receive a lower quality of care for writing this. However, there's no way for them to treat me any worse without committing actual malpractice, which is the only reason I don't expect my care to be affected by speaking out against their practices.

My husband went here today and after three years of constant pains they gave him a script for 20 NSAIDS and treated him like dirt. The head if neurology/headaches sent hin there after trying over 20 other options. I called to get the office manager after a terrible experience with PA Anna Sorrel (sic). After two hours, including being hung up on by Annette.... Well, Joey the ofice manager, he literally does not even want to know WHY the wife a patient is upset enough to call for two hours to get him. Literally did not want to know and interrupted me. I was calm by then too. Absolutely worth less and pathetic behaviors from 3 of 4 employees today. Update 3/13 Edited for typos whilst angry. I did call the number. And his new appointment was today. Apparently the complaint I filed, they do not care. His care is delayed yet again. Thanks Atrium! Now let's talk about what happened in Pineville when I gave birth last year. Why did the nurses talk about the dead babies and miscarriages they'd seen, knowing so much? Why did the blame the shot? Why doesn't anyone care? Why did they try and offload Post Partum onto a PCP? Why did they ignore the screening forms over and over? And messages? And pleas for help? I have lots of questions. New uodate: why does it day 2 reviews and 3.0 when 7/3 isn't 3.0? And there are 3 reviews. One a month old so no excuses. --- that part fixed itself. But that is how low my trust level is now so I'm not deleting it.
