The app said this place needed help , I have certain restrictions but i was home that day and wanted to know if i could help out still, so i called to ask about their patient ratio while asking if they have mechanical devices the lady or man I was talking to hung up on me and they were very rude from the beginning . I sent them a text after that telling them that it was very unprofessional for them to hang up the phone while I was talking she called then tried to lie and say it got disconnected but I had called back to no avail. She also said I am management so you cant report me I called the administrator of the place to report my experience with a member of his staff the man said unless I work for him or Im a resident he doesnt understand why Im calling. Then he too lied about oh Im in a meeting I have to go. When the man picked up the phone I asked if he was available to chat to me, he could have mentioned there and then that maybe hell call me back. But he only said that to get off the phone I think the image of this place gets ruined in a moment like that because I am a potential employee, I could be a potential client with family I could be anything and for them to refuse to help or hear you out is disgusting and all this trouble and I was merely trying to help them. Eastover nursing doesnt deserve good things if they dont change their attitude . I cant block them on my app but I wish I could . I could never work for a place like this that makes such a bad impression before I get there

Eastover Nursing, formerly, Pelican Health of Charlotte(and others) has so much chaos to deal with its a wonder how they stay in business. It's a Skilled Nursing Facility that's becoming more and more disturbingly known for poor quality and corruption by many observers and other allied health professionals. The place needs a TOTAL revamp of everything from the leadership to even the flowers. Let the 2 Stars represent some good caring people that exist within the company. Such as Jennifer or Beth. Without people like them, let that 1 star be a ZERO. May Balance be the objective. However that seems impossible in this field. It's a business. Your health as a patient or work as an employee be damned. After observing 4 members of administration, please remember that they have alot of responsibility to try and maintain virtually everything and everyone in the business. That said, the element of care lacks amongst all to a degree. Some more than others...... If you must place your person of interest in this facility, please understand that you need to setup a co-care plan for that person. The system in place is detrimental to the company's own interest. They, like many other facilities won't admit, can't meet all your needs or will inevitably fail to do so. Often due to staffing. The staff don't get paid enough and/or don't to truly care and the work is taxing for every department. Whether you work or have to send someone here, Good Luck......Don't mess around with any and all Patient's Safety! And don't hesitate to drop ANY facility that take their care for granted!!! My most passionate review, to you, the public for it to serve as a reminder of the instability still in the field...... Edit/Update from Feb. 27 Response from Owner: A representative already called and input was given. It is unlikely anything will actually get done especially with such a typical corporate response rather than much needed modifications based on feedback previously given.

worked here through agency as other post have said the place is filthy management is a joke.....wouldn't place my dog here they literally have a patient get fed by aides (patient is laying flat because of disorder and should be fed by a nurse due to that being a choking hazard )and the patient has an epilepsy like disorder and falls on roach infested floor at minimum once a shift. Another incident i witnessed was a resident in an electrical chair let out building and less than an hour later had to be pushed back with help of a bystander until ambulance arrived. they neglect their residents and over work/underpay the staff and help (agency) and if you speak up for yourself they falsify stuff on thee app to try to mess you up from picking up other places. BEWARE staff and families document everything
