A few things to take into account before you use Invision. (I highly recommend you dont.) Invision only does the initial screening, no follow ups. Be sure to check with the imaging center you would use as a follow up if they will read Invision scans and if they will make you redo the mammogram. HUGE HUGE hassle (a costly one) because who has all my previous records/scans (Charlotte Radiology) does not read Invision scans. I had to then go to another provider (Novant) and they too will most likely redo your mammogam if coming from Invision. They did read the scans but had me redo them (and I am not referring to diagnostics or ultrasound- this is the baseline normal mammogram.) Using Invision actually cost me money in the end due to insurance only covering one a year. It also took a very long time to get my images sent to Novant which delayed my appointment again after having to wait 3 months to get in. I will not make the mistake of using Invision again. Although the initial staff was kind, and it was convenient in the moment with coming to my workplace, it was a long, drawn out, nightmare after. I would say Invision needs to fix whatever the problem is in regards to why other main imaging providers won't use their scans, provide their own follow up scan appointments, or provide a list of doctors that will read and use their scans when follow ups are needed. Although Invision seems convenient, it is not in the long run. Make your yearly appointment with an imaging center that will do their own follow ups if they are needed.

I had a great experience with the mobile staff on 1/11/2022. They were both very friendly and professional. The follow up care, however, has been a nightmare. I received a letter on 1/25/2022 that I needed a follow up mammogram or ultrasound due to a suspicious area. The letter indicated I needed to schedule that follow up and then call the number provided to relay where the follow up appointment would be as that facility would need the records before I could be seen. I have called daily and have yet to speak to an actual person. I have left 7 messages with not one single return call. It is now 2/7/2022 and I still have not been able to complete the task assigned to me by your organization. I am stressed, angry and in disbelief that your organization would allow this negligent behavior.
