I had my first and last appointment with docotor JAMES REED at this location 3 years ago. I went in for a visit to find out why my calf and the front of my leg area felt warm to the touch, it felt as if warm water was running down my leg and I was highly concerned. Dr. Reed advised that everything was fine, I had nothing to worry about so he measured my calf area to see if the size differ from my other calf and that was it.
He soon after stated, "So let's talk about this weight, I have medication for that"! (Not let's get you in contact with a nutritionist or therapist or asked have I thought about joining a gym). I said well, I'm actually started a cleanse followed by going vegan (in support of a family member) tomorrow so I'm not interested in the medication. He said are you sure, I have different types of medications and I said no, I came here to discuss my leg. He said ok and soon after got up from his chair, he didn't say anything else to me and walked out the room then went into his office which was a few doors down from the room. I sat in the room for a few moments puzzled, like what just happened? I walked to his office and said, excuse me, is the appointment finished? He said yes. I said um ok, this is my first time here, which way is the receptionist area and he pointed to the direction. He didn't say anything to me after that as in nice meeting with you, make sure you schedule your next appointment with the receptionist, nothing! When I returned to the receptionist she asked did I want to schedule any future appointments and I said no. I was so livid!
The entire time he looked at me with disgust in his eyes as he quickly addressed the initial reason for my appointment so that he could address what HE thought was wrong with me.
I viewed my Mychart and under the doctor notes, in the Patient Appearance area he wrote: "She is obese".
At the time I did weigh 290lbs (with no weight related health issues) and in that same year, I "naturally" lost weight and went down to 252lbs while I was on my healing journey with my loved one which was not my intentions but it happened.
I work in the medical field and I know If doctors can't prescribe you medication for ongoing health issues then they simply rather not deal with you as a patient because you're not making them any money, you're physical check ups are just a waste of time.
This doctor is fatophobic, heartless and extremely unprofessional. I couldn't locate the area on mychart to leave a review so I brought my complaint here. I really wish I would have done this sooner, but it's never too late.
I will never forget my experience with him here.

First time visit. Staff professional and polite. Dr Reed attentive and answered questions appropriately.
