Hopedale Builders, Inc.

I used Hopedale Builders for a home renovation project and was very satisfied from start to finish. Brett was very patient as I explored the idea of the renovation and he never pressured me to move forward and accepted all my questions which sometimes were repetitive. During the scope of the project a few unforeseen issues came up and Brett and his team stood by me and gave very sound advice. Kyra, Stephen and Jake were always responsive and provided many updates along the way. I would 100% use them again and would recommend them in a heartbeat.

My interaction with Lori from Hopedale Builders Inc., while relatively brief, was an overall unpleasant experience. The owners of Hopedale Builders also own Hopedale Properties. After connecting with a current tenant of Hopedale Properties who was looking for someone to sublease, I was included on an email with Lori so we could get all the paperwork squared away. I was instructed by Lori to go ahead and put in an application and pay the fee - I even helped her get in touch with my current leasing company for a ledger/reference - just to be met with an email that the property was no longer available. When I reached out to the leaseholder for clarification, they advised that they were being evicted for trying to sublease. If the lease had any stipulation prohibiting sub letting - I don't understand why I was advised by a representative of Hopedale Properties to still go through all the hassle of applying and paying the fee (which to my knowledge has not been refunded.) If they run Hopedale Builders with the same lack of professionalism and attention to detail, I would absolutely not recommend doing business with them.

We hired Hopedale to complete a full renovation of our house. Large project scope (at least for us!). Would highly recommend Hopedale to anyone looking to do something similar. They completed our project on-time and on-budget. Quality of work is excellent. Made sure all the punch-list items at end of the project got resolved. Brett Taylor is the consummate professional. He knows what hes doing. Clear communicator. Kyra is super well organized and kept on us to make necessary decisions (so much of a project delay is actually the owners fault for not making timely selections!). We worked with Hopedale on our Myers Park cape. It was a great experience. They navigated the pandemic to keep us on schedule, budget, and had a fantastic finished product. We added windows, turned 4 rooms into 1, renovated my home office, and bar. Everything was done with a great attention to detail. The site supervisor is Stephen Kuhn, and he is a true craftsman with great attention to detail. Kyra helped guide us through the laborious task of picking out every item of out counter tops and custom cabinets. Her expertise was much appreciated. Brett the owner was super attentive to our punch list and had any items completed after 2 weeks of finding out our issues. While living through a large renovation it is an emotional and trying time, we were happy that Hopedale was there to guide us through. Services: Home renovations, Kitchen remodeling

I can't say enough good things about Hopedale. From the project quote to project completion, all the staff at Hopedale are extremely professional, knowledgeable, responsive/communicative, proactive with any issues or changes to scope and overall just good at what they do. Kyra managed every detail without a miss and our project managers Stephen and Jake felt like part of our family. We will definitely use Hopedale for our next home project! Service: Remodeling
