        Our family would like to thank Novant Health and Hospice for the excellent care they provided our mother prior to and upon her passing. Everyone was caring and professional. Nurses, CNA, Chaplin and social worker. You are very special people.

        We had an excellent experience with the hospital-based hospice care at Novant - Presbyterian Hospital in 2015. Our mother was admitted with a catastrophic stroke, and her 4 adult children spent the next 12 days in an adjacent room supporting her and each other through the end. The space was wonderful, the staff members were caring and attentive, and accommodating to our requests both before and immediately after her death. Our mom was gently, consistently, and humanely cared for. We were given the space and support we needed, and enjoyed meals brought by volunteers many nights. I cant say enough about how much easier a difficult time was made by the hospital and hospice staff and volunteers.
