These guys let their subcontractors throw an insane amount of trash onto my property. Also their safety is a joke. There was one guy who didnt have a harness so he just tied a rope around his waist. What a poorly run company.

Worked with Jon to renovate my master bathroom. One of the easiest renovations ever Ive done. Jon listened to my wishes for the space and came up with workable recommendations. Jon with Red Cedar was responsive to my questions and quick to correct any problems. We had 2 changes and he didnt jack up the price on change orders. I recommend considering Red Cedar for your next renovation.

The cliche saying of only giving one star because I have to. But this is so try coming from me! Two years ago they build 21 homes in an existing neighborhood. The delay of completion date wasnt surprising to me due to the lack of materials in the height of COVID. It was EVERYTHING else. They contracted horrible electricians, painters etc. I literally still have blue tape in places of my house that they promised to come back and fix, but never did. Some of my exterior lights that used to work, no longer do. My vinyl flooring is already lifting, which is a HUGE hazard to my family and I. Shelf and foot kick in my kitchen that I was promised would be replaced never had. Some of my neighbors and I just received an HOA bill out of the blue, without any details, payment period, payment schedule, etc. we were told that the HOA would be ready after all of the houses were sold, but we havent voted or anything. We have NO idea what the HOA even covers. They installed mailboxes when the house was built, but found out MONTHS after we moved in that they would be switching to cluster mailboxes. I know that was probably a misunderstanding between them and USPS, however, I was told that they would be coming to pick up all of our mailboxes from the ground. They only picked up a few, so I have a useless mailbox still sitting at my curb. There are two phone numbers listed on the website, but they both ring ONE person. Im sure shes loaded with work to the capacity, so her responses lack quality and I rarely receive feedback without having to text and call over and over. This would be my first and last time ever purchasing from Red Cedar Homes and I encourage anyone reading this to shop around before locking in a deal with them.
