The Carl J. McEwen Historic Village in Mint Hill is a step back in time right here in our town. They have restored a Country Doctors Office, a one room schoolhouse, a Country Store with Gas Station and the Gold Assay office where miners brought their ore to see if they had struck it rich!! They also have other village buildings like the blacksmith shop, corn crib, Woodwright shop, mill, and meat curing building. A step back in time for sure. It was a good visit
