They charged double the advertised price. The service is slow and they employees act like they have no experience. The lift was in poor condition and the reps were unhelpful. Your better off going anywhere else and saving some money.

Rented an aerator; all great for approx. a dozen rows until unit's motor stopped running. After 4 hours, United Rental brought an exchange to me but clutch control was set to not disengage so when unit was started, wheels & tines were fully running. Not only unsafe, but unit incorrectly set up per the manufacturer. First issue is, after 1) original unit motor became inoperable, 2) exchange unit was clearly unsafe/not setup correctly, & 3), didn't get to aerate in time allotted. I subsequently asked a representative for a properly working aerator and I told him the original unit was actually setup correctly. My primary issue is the rep told me, disparagingly, the (exchange) unit was setup correctly - the one that could actually damage property, hurt or maim someone & that I was wrong! I appreciate the effort to get an exchange to me (different rep) & full disclosure, the rental charge was credited back to me, but the rep that told me I was wrong is going to cost United Rentals some money, both for repeat business (obviously mine), but, more critically, a liability situation caused by that rep's snide & inept direction to a customer. Starting over to aerate - wasted my day!
