We had the pleasure of working with Chip Carpenter that designed our craftsmans style home on Lake Norman. I have only lived in three places in my lifetime (with my parents growing up; away at college and my first home for the past 33 years). Chip was always VERY generous with his time to help us design our 'Dream Home' which I struggled to define initially. Chip was also cooperative/collaborative, fair and most importantly, honest!!! We had complete comfort working together with him along with our Builder, Rick Howell knowing they would protect our interests as it related to our lifestyle, program and budget. Our overall experience was enjoyable/fun and it is with no hesitation that we strongly recommend Chip Carpenter to design your future home.

Chip Carpenter is an amazing house designer. He is very
professional, and honest. I would recommend him to any one for a great house plan. His passion for his work is evident in the results of his designs.

Chip Carpenter had designed a Spec house for us. It was a beautiful house that sold very quickly. Chip was very easy to work with from the start of the project until the project sold and closed on. I will use Carpenter Design on our next project and would highly recommend Chip.

Chip Carpenter took my money and ruined my house plans and dream to build my home in Charlotte NC. Don't hire Carpenter Design he doesn't stand behind his work and in my opinion doesn't have any business ethics. Stay away.
