    Let me start by saying I am not a review writer. I dont have the time, or energy but people need to be warned. I moved in the element over a year ago. I just re-sign my lease and then the community was bought by Bell. I wish I was able to get a feel for the way the community would be run before resigning. There used to be 24 hour concierge thats now a thing of the past. The building isnt secure anyone can walk right in. The leasing staff are unable to answer questions because they dont know the answers. I was told someone from management would get back to me about my concerns & Im still waiting, weeks later. Ive even called the corporate office to no avail. This morning while in the lobby I meet 2 other resident who share the same feelings about the community as I do. Its really sad. Ive read the lease & was hoping there was a way to get out since I signed w/The element & not bell but there isnt. The bright side is the location is still great, but there are plenty other communities to choose from that are close. Dont waste your time or money people. Update: 8/01/2023 It happened again! I moved out in July after 2 years of leasing, but accidentally sent my package to my old address. I didnt have the option to cancel the order so I called Bell IMMEDIATELY to let them know what happened in hopes they could intercept the package. After speaking with them I found out Id have to call back once the package was delivered in order to retrieve it. Watching the package diligently, I was able to see the moment the package was delivered. I called Bell again immediately. They told me bc it was sent USPS by law theyd have to notify the new resident & the resident had to drop the package off with Concierge. We hung up & they called back about 10 mins later & told me the new resident went to the mailbox got the package and I could pick it up anytime. I was soooo excited as it was something for my trip to the south of France. I went the nxt day only for concierge & the office staff to tell me they sent it back weird right? I filed a complaint with the post office only to learn it was never returned through them. If that were the case it would have been scanned into the system. Beware!!!! These people are thief's & giving the right opportunity they will steal. Office staff is incompetent & will cover it up to by any means. Glad Im no longer apart of that circus.

    I'm glad that I was able to call this place home for the past 2 years. The staff, amenities, gym, etc. made everything worth while. The new renovations have made the complex way more modern and fun. Definitely one of my favorite locations that I have ever rented.

Our goal is to ensure Bell Uptown Charlotte is a community residents (future, current and previous) are proud to call home and we are saddened to hear we dropped the ball during your time calling Bell Uptown Charlotte home. We appreciate all feedback so that we can better address areas in need of improvement, and I am happy to provide some updates that our community has undergone so that we can better serve our residents. We did transition Concierge companies last year in an effort to better serve our residents, and do continue to provide 24/7 concierge services! We also implemented a new package delivery, notification and pick-up process that provides more visibility for our residents regarding their packages, including previous residents, to avoid future situations that you notated in your review. We are also in the process of upgrading our access control and door system, as well as implemented an additional security patrol service for our residents and community. Again, I do apologize for the less than stellar experience you had while residing at Bell Uptown Charlotte, and look to use the concerns listed to better our community and resident experience.
