Bought and installed a unit from this guy. Looking back lots of red flags, sloppy work, unprofessional, etc. Stopped returning texts and calls after install. He promised to service it the first time with install. Claimed he has an illness via email was the only way I could contact him. Stay Away!!!! Services: Installation, HVAC duct & vent installation

Brian Reishman or Brian Smith, not sure what he goes by now. He was the most charismatic and smooth-talking HVAC technician I’ve ever spoken with. Told us about how he taught HVAC and ran a large HVAC company for many years and had over 30yrs experience. What we learned is he likely meant experience ripping people off. He talked us out of buying our own HVAC equipment direct from the supplier and instead use him, as he would make sure we get the best equipment at the best price. First he quoted us the price of the entire job would be $8K installed all-in price. Then only to ask us for more money for Electrical when his electrician bailed, an additional $700 for the electrical, which was supposed to be included in the all-in price. We ended up paying him final price of over $9K for the installation only to learn a hard lesson, don’t trust him. He robbed us by installing used rusted equipment over 8yrs old and vents were scraps from other jobs. He had painted over some of the rusty areas and called it reconditioned. He put the registers on the wrong place in the ceilings close to inside walls, nowhere near a window where it’s supposed to be, to handle the South Carolina heat. It would be laughable if it wasn’t hurting people. Instead of hiring an electrician, he did the work himself with exposed wiring, used no conduit for outside wiring and did not install an HVAC disconnect. It’s a smaller home under 1000sqft, Brian made us a promise it was going to be done right and with all new equipment. I don’t understand how he could sleep at night taking advantage of elderly couple with limited income. He has a website called homeproscharlotte, a facebook page and advertises on Craigslist. He uses a few different emails so be careful of this guy. Phone he listed is 704 200 7982. We will be speaking with an attorney to seek legal remedies.
