I've never seen Dr.Reid as a patient but got a copy of his book "Stopping the noise in your head" and it changed my life for the better. I have emailed him my progress and he always responded nicely and generously - and he didn't have to, but he did because he is a caring doctor. Thank you Dr.Reid, you have saved my life and I'm sure many others. He helped be to become the best therapist I can be for my OCD.

I'm a clinical psychologist in Charlottesville, Virginia. I send people to Dr. Wilson all the time because it is clear that he really knows what he's doing. I've seen some of his former clients, and I have interviewed them extensively about his approach. We all mess up, and we all have bad days, but he and David Tolin are therapists who I try to emulate. I'm responding to Dr. Wilson's bad review. The person who said that he doesn't use CBT correctly clearly doesn't understand what CBT is. I get the same feedback from people who have read CBT books from the 1980s. That's not the reviewer's fault. There's a lot of conflicting and old information out there, and very few people who are not trained in CBT actually understand it. I am an activist when it comes to evidence-based therapy. There are a lot people out there who are using ineffective, and even harmful treatments, particularly for OCD, and it is important that people seek out professionals who know how to treat it.

I attended a weekend clinic with Dr. Wilson and learned valuable tools that I would have otherwise just read about and not exercised. He’s intelligent, expressive, and seems to enjoy his job. He is confident, and his confidence is exactly what students should try to emulate and embody once they leave his office. Five stars. Wish we were best friends.

If you have an anxiety disorder or OCD, Dr. Wilson is the therapist to see. He's not only one of the world's leading anxiety disorder and OCD experts, but he's also caring, kind, compassionate, and genuinely interested in helping people get better. Therapy for anxiety disorders is not easy, but he teaches you skills and techniques that empower you to successfully face your fears. Therapy with Dr. Wilson helped me take my life back from severe OCD, and I would not be where I am today had I not been one of his clients. Highly, highly recommend calling Dr. Wilson. It just might change your life. I know it did mine.

Worst psychologist I have ever been too. Unbelievably expensive. Arrogant. I got the impression that he is just trying to fund his next yacht. The sessions were worse than unhelpful, but damaging. It took going to someone interested in helping me to realize this. He never used normal Behavior Therapy techniques for me and took weeks to "get to know me" while charging and arm and a leg. Strongly advise all to stay away.
