Great midwife however she did try to shift my agenda in the way I wanted to birth my son. Educate yourself on your doctors and look for credentials and years of experience not 3 or 4. She is a great doctor however she can try to sway you in other directions which I was not to happy with. However overall I was very pleased with her work and she took excellent care of her patients.

Very thankful for the parallel care I receive with Venus Standard. I am currently working with her for the 4th time. She is kind and thorough with my parallel prenatal care as I home birth with another CNM. Very grateful for their partnership.

We had a wonderful experience with UNC Family Medicine with the birth of our son. The glaring exception to that was the care and approach of Venus Standard who was the attending at the time of his birth. She came into our room at a shift change, neglecting our birth plan and making a 180 on a previously discussed and agreed upon path forward. Pushing her own views and agenda without any effort of a dialogue or discussion on the balance of our wishes and best practices. I cannot stress how inappropriate her attitude and approach were, and it ranks as the singular worst bedside manner I've witnessed at one of the more important life moments. It was incredibly disappointing and frustrating. Had we met her before delivery and been made aware she was part of the team, we would have gone elsewhere and I would recommend the same to you. The number of caring physicians who will listen and engage and help educate you is vast, Venus Standard is not one of them look elsewhere.
