Zinn Design Build

My experience with Zinn Design Build was absolutely seamless. I had tried for a very long time to get other companies interested in this job. My window replacement had the challenge of requiring exterior access on a high level of a condo building. When I contacted Carol, she said that was no problem at all and she jumped right on it. Within weeks my project was measured, the windows were ordered and all the product came in as expected. After handling the ordering of the windows, Zinn Design Build installed them expertly. Carol and Jason helped me out when no one else was able or willing. I recommend them very very highly.

We worked with Carol Ann and her builder, Jason, at Zinn Design Build for over two years. Carol Ann provided a unique combination of excellent design aesthetic, impeccable taste, endless energy and creativity in addition to being an excellent, and well-known builder in the Chapel Hill and Carrboro area. She worked tirelessly to get to know us and help us create the floorplan we wanted for our custom house. She also researched and provided multiple choices of all prices so that we could stay within our budget. From tile to countertops to lights to paint colors to cabinets and hardware and doors and more. Her speed and knowledge led to having everything priced and purchased in time to make our tight timeline of moving out of our rental house -- Jason and Carol Ann bent over backwards to ensure that we were able to move in on time. She also was very creative and provided endless recommendations for anything I asked her. She is an expert in building and design. We felt lucky to be working with her and we would do so again. Her landscaper, Joe from Farmhouse Landscaping is excellent and we continue to work with him on other projects ongoing. Joe is patient and has amazing choices and works hard to give you options within your budget.

Carol Ann and Zinn Design Build built our house and did a great job. This was a custom design/build job that was done while I was living 800 miles away. I would have never trusted anyone other than Carol Ann to build a house for me at a distance. We have now been in the house for 5 years and have had zero problems with it. It is beautiful. This is the 2nd home I've lived in that was built by ZBD, and as with this home, the 1st home was beautiful and well-built. I have also had experience w/ other home builders over the years. Trust me, Zinn Design Build produces excellent houses, and they are very invested in making sure their clients are happy.

dont do business here. the guy who runs this place (Adam Zinn) is a total freak. He'll call you middle of the day and try to tear them a new one (as though he has the authority to do so). lol what a clown

If you want a your dream house in and you want it to be beautiful, Zinn Design Build is the company for you. We hired Zinn Design Build back in 2019 and the owner, Carol Ann was amazing at taking all of our ideas and incorporating them into our new home in Chapel Hill. We have worked with other builders in the past and were never satisfied until we learned about Zinn Design Build. Out beautiful home was built on time and on budget. In fact, our home was finished ahead of schedule (and mind you that this was in the middle of the pandemic when every other builder was experiencing delays due to suppliers). Zinn Design Build are great. They build gorgeous houses all around our county. They are wonderful to work with and are very responsive while at the same time, they will strive to complete your home and ensure that you will be satisfied before you take the keys. And lastly, contrary to the troll who left the other comments on their google review page, they DONT RENT OUT HOMES! Instead they build dream houses that will make their owners wake up every day and ask, wow, how did I get to live in such a fabulous home that makes me so happy?
