Hi Charles Young and Rachel Doerner, I see you both left me a 1 star review on google and wanted to express how sorry I am that your stay was unpleasant for you. I know I said it before but I wanted to say it again. Also, If you are going to provide a bad review I would prefer you be fair in your assessment. The apartment was cleaned prior to your move in as all my apartments are. I do apologize if it was not up to your standards. I spoke with my cleaning lady about it. She also apologized for missing some spots. There was no infestation when you moved in. I don’t know where these flies came from but you didn’t mention anything about them until 2 weeks after you moved in. Once you brought it to my attention I contacted The Arboretum and got you on the pest control list so the exterminator would come out and treat your apartment. As I explained, since I lease the apartment from The Arboretum and sublease to guests like you I cannot hire vendors, I must go through their office. This is standard at any apartment community. Its unfortunate what happened but this certainly isn’t a slum as you accuse. I did everything I could think of to make this right for you including: 1. Overnighting pest control products to your door at my expense 2. Reimbursing you for your costs 3. Numerous calls and emails with Arboretum staff to address this 4. Asking what you wanted me to do 5. Allowing you to get out of your lease early 6. Returning your full security deposit even though items were missing and damaged upon counting inventory after your move out I know your experience wasn’t great and I will apologize once again. Lastly, you say I make 50% profit which just isn’t true. There are other business expenses besides rent like utilities, insurance, furniture, replacing items etc. My reviews speak for themselves. I have dozens of 5 star reviews that I can provide to anyone who asks and two 1 star reviews both from you and your girlfriend. Everything I said in this response is true and can be backed up with emails, receipts and text messages. I wish you both well and hope your next residence is better for you.

image Our unit was not cleaned and had a very bad phorid fly infestation. Garren did not work to resolve our problems and ignored our messages.
Given Garrens >50% profit, I was extremely disappointed with the with how horribly he treated us over our stay. Attached are pictures of Garrens $3150/month slum.

image We were moving out of state and needed a place to stay after we sold our local home quickly. The complex has great amenities and Garren is easy to deal with. When our new purchase took longer than expected we were able to stay an additional month with no problem. I highly recommend this service.
