        We hosted our baby shower in the salon room. Hayley was our point of contact and couldnt have been more helpful. The event went so smoothly. The staff were beyond professional. Excellent service. We plan to host future family events at the Umstead again. The night before our baby shower event my husband and I spent the night at the hotel to have a small baby moon. We used the spa and absolutely loved it. Service was outstanding and luxurious. Dinner at the restaurant was also incredible

        great hotel with excellent service! We traveled through 4 states, visited top-level hotels, but we received the best service here! the napkin for our glasses on the nightstand broke my heart! thanks for taking care of me !
