Nick Putnam joined First Command Financial Services as a Financial Advisor in May 2007. He is excited about the opportunity to help people make the smart financial decisions that are essential to long-term financial security.A graduate of North Carolina State University with a Bachelor's degree in Financial Management, Nick holds Series 6, 63 & 65 securities licenses plus life and health insurance licenses in NC Life & Health, P&C and LTC & Med Supp.Understanding that the biggest obstacle to financial security for most people is their own behavior, Nick serves as a personal financial coach to clients, continually reinforcing positive financial behaviors. He advocates time-tested financial principles, including disciplined, long-term saving and investing, careful debt management, and a thoughtful insurance strategy to manage financial risk.
