Sounds and Colors

We have had two kids at Sounds and Colors. Both have loved it and the teachers care deeply for the kids.

We love Sounds & Colors at CV. Our toddler has been there since he was 3 months and is adored by, and adores, his teachers and lil buddies. The new director (started Fall 2023) is communicative and energetic and the teachers are all so engaged with the kids. They host lots of family events which has been a great way of meeting other families and getting to know our child's classmates. Lots of outside playtime, art activities, Spanish, music and dance. Highly recommended.

The new director Ana has been amazing supporting us as new parents. Our baby is in the Nido and has had incredible care and attention. Ana is responsive and listens to our questions and concerns. The children get to explore different things each day. The staff take photos and put together a portfolio for each child, and share events in a newsletter each month. The program is wonderful and I am happy my baby has this team to care for him.

Does anyone answer the phones around here or respond to messages at any point throughout the day? Ive called on numerous occasions and left a voicemail, still no response. I suppose they dont need the business. And i most certainly wouldnt want to have an emergency and need to get to someone one day and no one responds / answers. Great reviews but how does anyone get in contact with the admin!

Sounds and Colors is exactly what we were looking for in a daycare: they are Spanish-immersive, care about the children, and ensure everything is done in a fun and loving environment. They may not have all the bells and whistles of other daycares, but that's okay because they have the important things. The meals are a culinary masterpiece--everyone comments that our daughter is a great eater and Sounds and Colors plays a major part in that. Also, every one there knows you. The director, Anne, is fantastic! She recognizes your car as soon as you pull in. She is communicative if your child is having an off day--she and the teachers have been the catalyst to scheduling a few doctors appointments. (Thanks for catching those ear infections early!) I love the parent-teacher conferences and the crafts. You can't go wrong with the family feel of Sounds & Colors.
