I had a wonderful experience with Nigel Wilson and Greg Barber. They were extremely knowledgeable and helpful through every step of my home purchase, going above and beyond. They were able to connect me with an incredible home inspector, home insurance contacts, and other valuable contacts. Their knowledge and relations of/with local vendors were invaluable and it is obvious they they are respected by these vendors, who responded so quickly allowing for a seamless and quick close of the property. The support staff never missed a step. It is so obvious that they know and love the Wilmington community. I've purchased several homes in different markets and my experience with Nigel and Greg ranks among the best.

Very happy with Greg throughout the entire process. He was unbelievably knowledgeable and it was beyond obvious he had done his research prior to meeting or discussing. He is also very well connected in the greater Wilmington area and has that true, long-term, local knowledge that helped greatly in my situation. He was very flexible in terms of meeting times and calls and always spent the time to explain every situation in depth and discuss multiple options with me. Greg was a pleasure to work with and I will be referring him to any friends and family looking to buy and sell in this area.

When interviewing real estate agents to represent me for buying or selling I made clear that my primary concern was a trusting relationship. Fiduciary is a term used by licensing boards but not at all understood and/or abided by the majority of agents. I repeatedly found Greg and his team to be COMPLETELY trustworthy. In addition they are experienced, knowledgeable, up-to-date with regulations and technologies, and very pleasant. So are their contractors. I will gladly do business with them again and recommend without reservation that you consider doing so as well. UPDATE The experience I had buying a home was so positive that I opted to have Barber Realty Group list the one I was selling. I did my due diligence by interviewing 2 other selling agents. One offered all manner of bells and whistles that just seemed like cost without benefit, then suggested I list for an outrageous price. The other agent was more in line with my own research and what Greg Barber suggested so I went with Greg. All materials were prepared quickly, including the MatterPort imaging which showed the very best features of the property. There was a single open house preceded and followed by individual viewings. An offer at a very nice price came in quickly. Gregs staff walked me through the closing process very well, just as they had when I was buying. The transaction was completed as scheduled without a hitch. Think twice about dealing with someone else; Greg and his team are superb.

Greg is hands down the best realtor ever we had in Wilmington! My husband and I have hired him and his team four times since 2017 to sell or buy a real estate property. He has all the critical qualities that any great realtor should have: hard-working, great knowledge and insight of the area and housing market, excellent communication skills and patience, always all ears to hear out clients' needs, always following things through in a timely fashion, amazingly resourceful--excellent connections to excellent specialists such as contractors, handyman, attorneys, insurance agents, mortgage brokers, property management, you name it. But Greg stands out as our favorite realtor for this characteristic that I believe not every realtor has: he is super calm when crisis happens!! In one of our transactions as a seller, the buyer ran into a lending issue that almost broke the deal. It completely blew us away that Greg was able to convince the lender to approve the amount! His skills and experiences could win your next deal when others can't!! I must also mention that one important reason to Gregs huge success as a realtor is that hes got outstanding staff. His assistant Shari handled all the small details and was always on top of everything and extremely responsive. He's got an amazing photographer who makes your house look like paradise:) We also had the pleasure to work with Glen Mitchell once. He was very cool and easy to work with too. The bottom line is Greg and his team has our highest recommendation!
