Plant Lady Designs

My Builder hired plant lady designs to do the Landscaping on my new build. All I can say is there are sprinklers in and sod was put down but the landscape escaping job was horrible. My Builder charged me $7,000 to $7,500 for landscaping she's declined to State how much she was paid but this landscaping job is so inferior. The sprinklers are barely spaced appropriately there is no drip system in the backyard so you couldn't run any type of plants that need drip work everything is a spray system the song was laid but the ground was so uneven there was dips and valleys throughout the front and the rear she put in some cheap plans. The ground was obviously not prepped properly prior to laying the sod. This was a vacant lot Full Of Weeds before it was demoed and cleared in order to build the house. It doesn't appear that she used any type of weed killer or pre-emergent because within a month the weeds were coming up through the sod she has been totally non-responsive concerning the work she did on this property.

Can I give a 0? I had two parts to my job. They finally showed up to clean out the back of my yard. I was told by Dawn they would be back in two weeks to do the garden, I heard nothing for over a month. I called on a Thursday and Dawn said she would be over Friday morning to take measurements and would send me a drawing. I heard nothing for three weeks, so I texted asking if she was coming back. No response, so I called and left a voice mail. No response for three days. I finally called one last time and she answered telling me she would be here Sunday morning. When she came we went over what plants I'd like and she said she would send me an email by that night with the price and plan. Well, its late Monday night and I've heard nothing. Being a person who had my own business for 30 years, I would not have been successful doing this to my customers. Don't waste your time on this business, it's not worth it.

I asked the Plant Lady for a consultation about a variety of yard issues and she was fantastic. Her practical knowledge of how plants perform in our area is outstanding. I now feel like I have some hope of dealing with the problems in my yard. She's also available for "garden coaching," so when the season is right, I will have her come back to show me exactly how to prune my roses, crepe myrtles, etc. the right way. I never felt any pressure to do something a particular way or buy something - just some honest advice on how to handle everything from mulch to mealy bugs. And she charged a very reasonable fee for her time. I'm grateful to have found this resource!

We had a paver patio installed by The Plant Lady and not only did it take WAY longer to install than what was told to us, it was such terrible quality we had to have it completely ripped up. She promised us she would come lay sod and plant some trees to make up for it and never followed through. I have never had such a disappointing experience with anyone weve ever hired before. I would definitely not recommend.
