Slate & Cypress was by far the most beautiful venue we toured making our choice for a wedding venue a simple decision. Andrew and Olga have invested so much into making Slate & Cypress look and feel like a slice of heaven hidden in Calabash, NC. Andrew and Olga are extremely professional and truly care about each couple who uses their venue. They were constantly willing to help us throughout the entire planning process to make sure our wedding day was nothing but perfect. Our guests could not stop raving about how beautiful the venue was and how helpful Andrew and Olga were throughout the day of our wedding. They also have plans to make what is already a spectacular venue even better and more accommodating for future weddings and events. This venue is absolutely gorgeous. It is a true hidden gem in Calabash, close enough to Ocean Isle and Myrtle Beach. Andrew and Olga were so accommodating and were involved from day 1 of choosing the venue to make sure the wedding went off without a hitch. They have put their heart and soul into building and renovating such a quiet and serene venue, and they both were wonderful to work with, always just a call or email away. Guests at my wedding could not stop complimenting the area. They offer plenty for guests to do during cocktail hour, including space for games, sitting around the fire tables and enjoying the company of each other under the tobacco barn. There are also plenty of different locations around the venue to have your ceremony, and Andrew and Olga are very accommodating to you and your vision for the day! Could not have asked for a better host and location for my day of! Truly an amazing team!
