Great Smokys Cabin Rentals

Need getting rid of insects. Jacuzzi doesn’t look so clean. Internet service very limited. No accommodation can be provided.

We stayed at Peace of the Mountain and discovered halfway through our stay that the house was infested with bed bugs. Management tried their hardest to convince us these bugs were not bed bugs - instead saying they were dust mites, then lady bugs, then the bites we had all over our bodies were chigger bites. Finally when they had an exterminator out they confirmed that the bugs we had killed and gathered dead from around the house were bed bugs, but said they 'disintegrated on touch' so we shouldn't worry. We had to go through airbnb with 3 forms of evidence (video of a bed bug on the master dresser, photos of bed bugs, and photos of bites) in order to get a refund for the days we left early as this agency refused any resolution. Even after Airbnb confirmed the infestation, they still insisted we made up the infestation and amazingly, that we planted the evidence. Because of their continued poor response and denial, I would not trust any of the 50 or so cabins to be bed bug free.
