        New patient to Carolina Smiles and Emily as my dental assistant and Dr Whitlow? As my dentist. I had been at my last dentist for approx 10 years and had to relocate due to insurance. It is always stressful having to change dentist, but this change I feel was for the best. Emily was fantastic and was very pleasant to speak with, and Dr Whitlow (hope I remember that correctly ) is one of if not the best dentist I've met. Dr Whitlow explained everything in great detail, and there was zero pain or discomfort. I'm usually hard to numb, but he got it 1st attempt. After the filling repair was completed, it looked better than my real tooth!! Overall, it was a fantastic experience (and that's hard to say about having to get shots and drilled on). I have a cleaning in a couple of weeks, and I hope it's as pleasant as my 1st visit.
