Beautiful hotel . Dated but well maintained. Rooms sounded as if there was running water all night, and it was not raining . Gym was small but works. Pool was a decent size. The breakfast was okay. Check expiration dates as I ate old yogurt and didn't notice till half way thru. Really cute ducks on property.

No room service, No elevator, No microwave, No bottle water.
Get big bag and take out trash yourself, Elevator out of order, not fixing it. Had to use stinky stairs
Water barely warm.

My husband and I usually visit Blowing Rock, NC at least once a year; wed never stayed at Meadowbrook Inn before. We were very impressed with the staff. Each member we encountered was helpful and professional. We were disappointed with our room, however. The mattresses were the worst wed slept on in many years! The pillows felt old and lumpy, and the sheets were dingy. We never figured out a time when there was any hot water to take a shower-only slightly luke- warm (the towels were very white and clean). Our biggest problem was the internet. My husband has a medical device that he needed a good internet connection to be able sleep well. Neither of us did. We had to leave a day early and were not refunded for the the prepaid last night.
Rooms: Our room was not as nice as the picture appeared to be. We got an adjoining room with a family with children ( noisy), and it was right by the door to the stairs.
