Well worth visit. Three buildings include 1900s furnished cottage and Fire Station, musicians and theatre, plus local history and archeology exhibits which date from thousands of years. Focus is the huge preWW1 Alcoa development of aluminum foundry requiring huge electrical power generation, biggest in nation until Hoover dam. Baden has a superb coffee shop, a conference center, and a 1900s era downtown set beside a large lake adjacent to Uwharrie National Forest.
