Briana Autran Wedding Photography

We were so lucky to find Briana during our stay outside of Asheville! We were drawn to her more organic approach to family photos. The more traditional portraits are not our style and Brianas photo journalistic approach was perfect for us. Briana is an intuitive artist and really sees the uniqueness of each person she captures. And in the end her work comes together to tell a beautiful visual story. A time stamp for life in the moment. She was a pleasure to work with and we highly recommend her!!

There aren't enough words to explain how amazing Briana is! She created such a memorable experience, from the picnic to the hiking and music and chatting, my husband and I had such fun day that really allowed us to enjoy our anniversary - and when we saw the photos, breathtaking. She captured the essence of who we are as a couple, in the most beautiful, organic and loving way. I was overwhelmed with gratitude. She is a master of her craft and an absolute joy to work with - we will only work with her from now on!

My husband and I are so grateful to have found Briana to capture some special moments in the mountains. Briana was wonderful to work with; she was laid back and made the process very organic. After she provided us with our photos, Briana was helpful and accommodating when it came to ordering prints from her website. We will definitely choose Briana in the future and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for beautiful professional photos.

It is difficult to decide where to even start with a review for Briana! And I will try not to be too long-winded because at this point I feel like I am talking about a bestie. She is just a magical beam of light. Photography was probably the most important thing to us for our wedding day so I started looking for a photographer pretty much immediately after we booked our venue. I had an idea of what I wanted our photos to look like but no one I was finding in my search really seemed to match what I was picturing. When I finally stumbled on Briana my heart literally skipped a beat. Her photos are so beautiful, they show movement and emotion, they're not stuffy or posed, they feel like stills from a movie and old film photos. Her work is just freakin cool. We contacted her immediately and held our breath until we heard back that she was available on our date. My now-husband is a little shy and also nervous in front of a camera so we booked an engagement shoot with Briana to kind of help him get a feel for what it would be like. They turned out to be the best photos of all time, but one of the most fun parts was just hanging out with Bri. She immediately made us feel like we were just best friends that hadn't seen each other in a while. There is no being nervous or uncomfortable or shy about taking photos around Briana. She makes it such a fun experience that you want to just keep hanging out all day, in the mountains listening to music in the fog lol. She knows all the cool spots for your photos and has the best ideas, and she's willing to get out of the box if that's what you want (that's what I wanted). After just talking back and forth with her a little, she picked up on my tastes right away and had tons of amazing ideas that I was just so pumped about. The day of the wedding, so many friends and family members made comments about how sweet and professional Briana is, and how they never felt like there was a "camera in their face" or like they were on the spot to take photos, etc. And hanging out with Bri all day was a big part of all the fun, she really brings a comforting energy that you really do need on your wedding day lol. She caught EVERYTHING we could have wanted, candids, family photos, out on the dance floor, she was everywhere. Our wedding photos absolutely turned out so much better than we ever could have dreamed up on our own- Briana made us look so much cooler than we actually are, and she seriously captured the mood of our day perfectly, not to mention she helped me with planning my timeline multiple times when I needed some guidance. As we've shared our gallery with friends and family, everyone has said how well the photos caught our relationship and personalities, these are photos that we will cherish forever. I could go on all day about how great Briana is as a person and an artist, and how you should have already booked her. If you are looking for someone who will absolutely nail your wedding photos, while making you feel like you're just hanging out having a great time, Briana is your lady! We will be reaching out to book Bri for anything and everything that calls for professional photos in our future.

If I could leave a hundred stars I would! Briana is an incredible photographer and person. We used her for out engagement photos and our wedding and I am so happy we had her there to capture such huge moments in our life. Her photos are amazing! She made things incredibly easy and natural for us. I cannot say how happy I was with our whole experience with her!
