I have worked with this group since I opened my pool back in 2016. They have been a great team to work with and have helped me work through becoming a new pool owner in Western North Carolina. This summer I needed a new pool liner installed and I couldnt have asked for a better experience. Glenn went above and beyond with his customer service and professional installation of the new liner. I appreciated him taking the extra time to explain to my kids what all he was doing as he worked through the installation. After the installation he followed up with me to see how everything was going and to see if I needed anything tweaked. I couldnt recommend a better group (Marci, Patrick and Glenn) to work with for pool openings and closings, repairs, heaters, pumps, etc. They will become part of your family!

THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS DOWN THE DRAIN! ASP installed the liner on our pool this past spring (2023). Fast forward to August (liner age = less than 6 months) we started to notice our pool levels were slowly dropping. We immediately contacted Pool Leak Solutions out of Greenville to conduct assessments to determine the origin of the leak. Immediately (in our direct presence) the PLS team noticed the screws on the light fixtures were never tightened by the ASP team during their liner installation. This oversight caused the liner to tear around one of the lights leading to our slow leak. The moment this issue was discovered we contacted ASP (with the the leak experts present) so we could determine our next best steps as the Americas Swimming Pool team are 100% responsible for this critical error/damage. During our interaction, ASP (Glenn) accused us of tampering with the screws on the lights. As he steam rolled us stating that he would never have forgotten to tighten the screws. The outcome: we are now stuck with the costs of the leak assessment, the costs for the Leak team to temporarily patch the vinyl AND were going to have to get a brand new liner installed next season! THOUSANDS of dollars, all because ASP didnt tighten screws during the liner installation.

Glenn was very impressive during the interview and sales presentation. However we had issues with several foreign objects under the shallow end of our pool after he installed the new liner. He did admit that he forgot to sweep it clean before installing the liner. His and Patricks repair solution was to drain the pool at the shallow end, pull up one side of the liner, crawl under and remove the foreign objects. They did also state that they would void our warranty if we chose this only option. We decided not to do this because we didnt want to loose our warranty. I was also subjected to Glenn yelling at me over the phone because we held the final payment until we could get a viable solution to our issues. We went ahead and paid them the balance in full even though we still have these objects under our liner. Now we have a small tear on the side of our liner. They wanted to send Glenn out to look at it but my wife and I are not comfortable with him coming out by himself due to his anger issues. I requested that Patrick the owner come with Glenn to look at the tear but did not receive a response. I am disappointed since they are capable of doing good work but it seems that they arent interested in taking care of our issues.

Poor customer service. The call center rep failed to log and dispatch my request to have a sales rep come out to my home. Fine. I called back after a week of silence. Finally was connected to Glenn. We set an appointment 2 weeks out because we were headed out of town. While setting the appointment, Glenn requested I call him to remind him of his appointment with me. Eh, huge red flag. Get your schedule in order and set your own reminder. While on said vacation I get a call from Glenn confirming our appointment for the following day. No, we set it for the following Thursday since were out of town. Fast forward to appointment time. No call, no show. I call dispatch to request Glenns ETA (ya know, because when youre planning to spend 80-100k on a pool, you make sure all decision makers clear their schedules to be present). Good ol Glenn calls me to tell me that if Im the kind of customer that isnt patient then were probably not a good fit. Yeah, Glenn, Im exactly the kind of customer that carved out time in my busy schedule to meet you at an agreed time. And when theres no call, no show 30 mins after appointment time, Im also the type of person who wonders if everything is okay. Poor customer service and basic human consideration. Be warned. That is, if you get far enough to actually speak to someone who knows anything.
