the manager there clearly knows nothing about products or store layout or anything at all involving what ulta offers. He has to ask other workers if they know or can help. Very embarrassing and doesnt make sense why a man who knows nothing would be a manager.

Poor customer service experience unfortunately as I think Ulta has some cool products. The cashier asked me for my phone number which I politely declined. She then approached a couple of ladies that were at another register waiting to be rung up and asked them for their phone number. I didn't know what was going on so I asked the cashier to finish ringing me up. She came back and was upset with me because I did not want to supposedly give my points to someone else. She had an attitude about it which I pointed out but then she said in a louder voice that I was the one with an attitude. I then realized the reason for my phone number was to get points which I wasn't aware of until the whole scene unfolded. At that point, I just wanted to leave the store and pretend the whole thing didn't happen. There was another employee watching the madness unfold who just smiled.
