I got to know the team at Alpine Towers when we created a series of videos about them in 2019. We were able to interview directors of outdoor programs who had chosen to have Alpine Towers install challenge courses at heir facilities. We also got to interview Mike Fischesser, the founder of Alpine Towers, Joe Lackey, and Wayne Hines, to cover the history and evolution of challenge course building. And last but not least we got to go through some courses with the Alpine Towers team for fun, but also get to know as much as possible about their product. What we found were customers who were not only thrilled with their challenge courses but also very happy with the process. The Alpine Towers team customizes their courses to fit the needs of the program and brings unique ideas to make each course unique. The fact that Alpine has been building courses for 30 years is a testament to the quality of their product and service. I really came away from the project with a new appreciation for the art and craftsmanship that goes into the design and build of these amazing courses. I also appreciated how the team is not sitting back on their past accomplishments but charging forward to expand into new areas of growth and achievement.

The ACCT Trainor/instructor for the western KY region, goes by Doug, is impatient, overly stern to the point of being mean and intimidating. I injured myself on the odessy and he was getting agitated with me. He made me feel uncomfortable and singled out. Although I learned a great deal, I feel I would have learned more if I didn't feel the constant disapproving judgement Doug obviously had for me. I had made it clear to him that I had never been on the odessy and that everything he was teaching was brand new to me. He was paid plenty of money to train our team, but his training seemed more like boot camp with a time bomb of a drill Sgt.
