Adrienne helps me keep my head on straight. Its always a challenge to keep organized when self-employed, and she is an excellent resource to helping me make sure I'm doing things right! I am thankful for some affordable guidance in managing my business, as my last partnership was costing more than my annual income! I have been to CP Kruse twice for assistance with my income taxes. The first time I had a complex situation as there were years I was uncertain if income taxes had been submitted. I was told that Caroyl could not help find out which years had been paid. She further advised that we not submit the income taxes as it had been so much time and the feds hadn't assessed any taxes. Multiple times she confused my and my wife name and social security numbers. The tax returns had to be reprinted twice due to errors on data entry. When we sent out payments in, we ended up owing more money than Caroyl had assessed. I attempted to find a tax service where I currently live but returned to Asheville this year to complete income taxes with Caroyl. Since I do not live and work in the same state, I was asking questions to better understand my situation. Caroyl became flustered and confused about my questions. She then turned very hostile and told me I would still have to pay even if I didn't submit the taxes with them. I tried to explain I was not arguing or attempting not to pay. I wanted to understand what form was used, what dates of residency was listed and if the tax rate was the same for non-residents. Caroyl continued to escalate the situation. Adreienne came into the room to see what was happening. She answered basic questions but at this point, I was incredibly embarrassed and frustrated that my questions turned into a tense situation. I quickly left the office and researched my questions at home. I received recommendations to CP Kruse based on friends experience with Adreienne, which I cannot speak to. I will say I would not trust Caroyl to correctly file taxes or provide consultation. You are effectively using someone else to complete TurboTax for you. You can save $170 dollars and potential stress and embarrassment from doing your taxes yourself or finding a different service.

Very rude to us. We submitted our forms (multiple times, she kept asking for the same forms) 3 weeks before the deadline. She kept saying (3 different times) she would get them done at the end of each week but she never did. We were polite and patient with her. The last promise she said on the Friday before the deadline (deadline was Monday) was I said I would be able to finish by deadline and that is Monday and I will have them by then. (Copied and pasted from her email) Which was a lie because she had told us she would have them done sooner) Monday rolls around and nothing. Wouldnt answer our emails or calls. Finally she emailed us on tuesday saying she will get them done. ( after the deadline!! At this point we now have penalties!!$$$) I wish she didnt keep promising us that she would get them done. She should have just admitted she didnt have time and we would have found someone else!!! Now we owe almost $800 in penalties and have to start from scratch as we had to hire a new cpa. Very unprofessional, rude and she gave us information that our new cpa said was wrong. Do not recommend. She is young and not experienced. Give her a few years and some lessons in manners and she might be ok.
