We had a great experience today at Carolina Orthodontics and Childrens Dentistry on Kelly Road. Both of my children had their routine cleanings and the staff was great. We saw Dr. Felicia and Dr. Brad, both of whom have a wonderful bedside manner and took their time to explain their findings and recommendations!

Awesome people that are really kind and super sensitive to what the kids are experiencing, and great at communicating everything happening with parents. The kids all love going!

I wish I could give less than one star. This practice is not transparent with patients regarding insurance codes and costs associated. AVOID THIS DENTIST! They will take advantage of you and your insurance. Be prepared for a bunch of bills after each appointment when in the office at check out they tell you youre good to go. We just received bills for costs that the staff claims they could not forecast at the time of the visit but thats the whole point (and their job) to cross check insurance to get the patient out of pocket cost correct. But no, this practice is very deceiving telling patients they owe XYZ and then later slam them with bills for ABC. They are purposefully coding things to insurance a certain way because they know it wont get paid and they can slam the patient for the cost. For example: we had a referral exam but the office coded it as a consultation instead of a referral exam. Insurance would have paid for a referral but they are now not covering the cost bc the dentist coded it as a consult visit. This place is bogus. Not to mention they only have two dental chairs in the whole office and theres no privacy from the patient sitting right next to you plus theres an orthodontics office right in front of patient chairs. Talk about awkward cramped space. Find somewhere else to get your childrens teeth examined!
