Ive had nothing but pleasant encounters with the entire staff since I joined! The facility is new with modern state of the art equipment, free weights, tons of cardio equipment plus a nice jacuzzi and great sauna! I received an equipment orientation and the trainer assigned to me was simply outstanding!!! Ive asked for assistance since I completed my orientation and the entire staff is more than happy to help me. EVERYTHING I need for my training is right here at CAMBRIDGE (minutes from my house). I highly recommend this gym for ALL interested in a great workout experience every single time!!!

Finally a fitness center in Brier Creek with a pool that offers water aerobics! Friendly staff (Will, Katie and Zach have been very helpful), good equipment and fun water aerobic classes (including aquaZumba - EBeth is a WONDERFUL instructor!) that give you a great workout! This is a good fitness center for seniors who want a comfortable and inviting environment to get in shape and stay in good health.

I have just moved to the area from another state. I went looking for a great place to workout and I found it! The heath club Cambridge Fitness Brier Creek was not only clean and classy but has every cardio, weight and stretching thing anyone would need or want for an amazing workout. The pool, sauna and locker rooms could easily be found in a 5 star spa! The gym was not loud or crowded which is the foundation to a great mental and psychical workout. The most important element for me in a health club or any business is the people who work there. And the people who work at Cambridge Fitness are truly the best! Big shout-outs to Blake and Katie who made me feel right at home All the staff were amazing! It has been a very stressful move to a new place and today the staff made me feel like things are going to be okay. I cannot wait to go tomorrow! Read less

I went back here after an extremely disappointing first-experience, after they offered me a 10-day trial for their re-opening. While the fitness equipment certainly is first-rate, the sales and staff do not seem to be in good communication at all. (I was told by one member that the video screens connected to both Netflix and Hulu, which was false. I even asked the Wellness Director about this repeatedly and he never responded back to me.) The pool area is very strange the aquatics fitness is way too small, and the sauna is communal (a women in there was very surprised when I entered). This really seems to be designed for Cambridge apartment residents rather than an actual fitness center. (I mean, you have to go up a 2-story driveway to get in, since they discourage you from entering by the front -- really?) Yes, unless you absolutely need a pool for doing laps that's in the Brier Creek area, you can get better amenities at LifeTime Fitness. Me, I'm staying with O2 Fitness for a way better value. WATCH OUT FOR THE FAKE 5-STAR REVIEWS. There's no way they could be placed here before it even opened!

Tour it, decide for yourself but it was lackluster for us. We went to tour when they just opened, the dark floor and walls seemed cold and out of the place, maybe they will decorate and make it look normal but it felt extremely out of place design wise for the market they supposedly were catering to. The fancy equipment they had in the back we were lead to feel like it was for going to be used mostly by the trainers and upcharged clients. The spin room had so many bikes crammed in it I didn't know how you would get on the bike without tripping over your neighbor. The pool area wasn't open. The water aerobics pool was smaller than the hot tub. Then on top of it, it was so overpriced. I saw an ad today for $50 membership, then clicked on the ad to see $75 membership which I guess is better than the $129 membership we were told (the second time as that was higher than the original cost were were told when we asked pre opening). So basically they don't seem to know how to price it and while it lists all the right things on paper, the implementation of it was not at all to our taste or style, really really unfortunate use of space and design choices.
