We needed a lawyer to handle a speeding ticket my husband got (of course right before we are about to be stationed over-seas and he’s never had a ticket before) and I usually go on reviews but decided to give them a try..was not disappointed! They took care of it and kept us in the loop of what was going on, even with a 14 hour time difference. Thank you so much!

*****DO NOT USE******* I got a speeding ticket and driving on suspended in hertford county. I was unaware my license was suspended at the time. I am from another state so I wouldn’t have been driving down there if I would’ve known about the suspension. I missed my court date because I can’t drive if I don’t have a license. I hired the “attorney” on April 25th 2018. I was told to retain her it would be $500 and a $200 FTA fine given by the state. I paid Maria Missé a $200 deposit so she could start working on my case. I was told there was a substitute judge at the time of my hearing so they would have to find the judge and get the same judge to hear my case. I was told the judge would be in on may 10th. I had another court case for window tint and driving on suspended in my state because I have been unable to get my license back because of this ticket but I have been more than ready to get my license back this entire time! May 10th comes around and they claimed the judge was out on medical leave and wouldn’t be back until June 1st. So a couple weeks later they said the judge had returned but then they were waiting on another judge which didn’t make any sense. Then I was told ms Missé can’t get my case heard and pay my fines until I paid my remaining balance of $500. I immediately paid her the money on 5/23/2018. I was told she would have my case handled the next day or the day after. (Also this entire time I would call and call to see if she had done anything with my case and I NEVER received any calls back!) so I had to call almost everyday to make them do their jobs which they STILL HAVENT DONE! I was also told the “attorney” couldn’t get my FTA dropped so they TRIED to charge me more money! I told them no because they told me how much it was and that’s what I paid and they weren’t getting anymore money! Yesterday 6/6/18 I called and I was upset because they know I’ve continued my court case in my state because I’m waiting on them to do their jobs so I can have my license and have the case thrown out. I was talking to RHONDA ARTIS and she claimed I was arguing with her and she had no idea what was going on. Which is crazy because how do you not know what is going on AT YOUR JOB????!!!! She said “the attorney will call you back” I said “ok” and hung up. I called back about 2 hours later because once again I didn’t receive a call back. RHONDA ARTIS proceeded to tell me how rude it was I hung up on her and and then said “I told you the attorney would call you back” then I TRIED to tell her how I didn’t hang up on her she said what she just said and I said ok and hung up but before I could get anything out RHONDA ARTIS SAID “I DONT CARE!” And hung up on me! And not to mention it was 4 in the afternoon and they had their Answering machine on saying they were closed when they close at 5pm! I also called hertford county clerks office and they said absolutely NOTHING has been done with my case and I still have a warrant! So basically they have been LYING TO ME THIS WHOLE TIME saying they were working on my case and it was handled the only thing left was for her to pay my fines and email me a receipt when they haven’t been!!!! I WILL BE REPORTING THIS SO CALLED “ATTORNEY” TO THE BAR AS SHE HAS NOT DONE A SINGLE THING SHE SAID SHE WAS GOING TO DO!!!! I am SO glad I record all my phone calls so the bar will be able to hear every little lie these people have told me and how unprofessional and rude they have been! I am a single mother and I have had to Uber everywhere because these incompetent people can’t do theirs jobs so I can get my license back! Im a full time college student I work full time and my child goes to school team practice etc. it has cost me so much money I haven’t been able to pay my bills and I am in danger of being evicted and thrown out on the street because of these scam artists not doing what they were hired to do!!! DO NOT USE THIS ATTORNEY SHE WILL RIP YOU OFF STEAL YOUR MONEY AND DO ABSOLUTELY NOTHING IN YOUR CASE IF I COULD GIVE HER NEGATIVE STARS I WOULD!!!!!!!! According to the reviews this is her MO!!
