Due to advancing dementia and heart problems, I was forced to place my little mama in a long-term facility. I researched the area's health and rehab facilities and chose Dhala Gardens/Accordius. It was clean, the staff was very friendly and attentive. Of course, there have been some problems now and then but overall Mom has been happy and well cared for. The only real complaint is mom does not like the food a lot of the time, but we make sure she gets a hamburger or taco as needed. One thing that helps is being able to go and see Mom several times a week and that is key for good care for a loved one it's a team effort. At least in my situation, I am satisfied.

Dahlia Gardens was the absolute worst work experience of my life. Poor management, a toxic work environment. Poor leadership. A gossip pit. You are. not valued as an employee. Poor communication, The Administrator spent her day in the office with the door and blinds closed, she never had time to talk about anything as she was ALWAYS ON A CONFERENCE CALL. There is no team. rare participated in any activities, as there are none. The business office manger spends her day calling corporate complaining about everyones job duties as she only wants to do a limited amount of work. Corporate HR Is a joke. The remolding of the building, is not the entire building only what is visible. The staff morale is an all time low. Mangers have no clue as to how to speak to staff in a professional courtesy manner. The only thing that has changed is the name of this facility. It remains the same.

The employees/staff at Dahlia Gardens have always been pleasant and respectful to my family and I. Any concerns were always addressed promptly and to satisfaction. The facility recently underwent renovation of the entrance and the halls, giving it a warm and inviting appearance. From my understanding, the resident's rooms are scheduled for a makeover.

I worked here for 2 years with some of the most amazing people. They brought in a new boss who absolutely destroyed moral. If you work here watch your back because nobody else will. They don't give you the tools to succeed and will blame you for not succeeding. I miss my coworkers or what's left of them. The DON will talk down to you and interrupt you then belittle you. I miss what this place was before she destroyed it. In all honesty nursing staff beware if you are thinking of working here. Trust me it's that bad. Plus all of the 5 star ratings on this page are people who work for corporate.

Dahlia Gardens Aberdeen,NC is equipped with wonderful staff. When you walk in you will see beautifully updated interior and friendly faces. Staff is always pleasant and inviting. I always receive informative information on the people i care for here and would recommend this facility for anyone seeking care for their loved one. I have spoken to the admissions director, Cynthia Farley, on each visit and she always accommodates my needs and has helped guide me every step of the way on helping with a variety of care for my patients.
