Wasnt even able to be seen due to one missed appointment I regretfully missed my first appointment with Dr. Hargrove and called to apologize and reschedule, as I booked this appointment long ago (ADHD brain, life happens). However, I was disheartened to learn that Dr. Hargrove has a strict policy against rescheduling patients who miss their first appointment. As someone seeking support for ADHD, I was extremely surprised by this policy as Ive never heard of a psychiatrist (who is meant to help with and understand mental health issues) refusing to see a patient based on one missed appointment. I would understand if it was someone who repeatedly missed appointments or payments, but I wasnt even given a chance to meet Dr. Hargrove. For someone who finally decided to look after my mental well-being (after 60+ years), it was discouraging to go through this. This experience made me realize that I value understanding and grace from my doctors, which was not the case here.
