Lenoir Preserve

I love this place because you can learn so much about nature and go on a nature walk. If you just want to free your mind and have a little peace from the world it's a nice spot. Playground: There should be more protection at school playgrounds. Once schools or closed for holidays or years public shouldn't be allowed to smoke there or drink. People children's have to attend these schools. They should have locks for gates. Restrooms: There should be restroom attendants so drug addicts can't do drugs in bathroom and more availability in NYC for woman. No public restrooms should be closed at no time if there are places 24 hours Dog-friendliness: There should be no dogs allowed in places where food is sold or served.

Great short trip for Maple Saturday. Maple tapping and demonstration about the process of making maple syrup....plus pancakes afterwards!

I've always liked coming to Lenore and visiting the butterfly garden. Great for bird watching and for leisurely strolls on the paved path. If you bring your dog, please keep them on a leash. Just as beautiful during the winter too!
