I have never received such a high level of service at a repair shop of any kind before. He was kind, professional, extremely knowledgeable and super patient. He took time to explain and even show me the problem in person, laid out all the options and pricing, and answered any questions I had. This NEVER happens at repair shops!
And when the repair was completed, he even sent an email detailing all that was done. I mean come on! Where else do you get that kind of service?! Absolutely amazing. Honestly 5 stars isnt enough.
Not to mention, I was and have been floored by the difference in the ride since then. I honestly had no idea the difference it would make. I was actually at the point where I was getting ready to sell or trade in the car because I figured that the ride was just naturally that rough. Now it feels amazing!!!!
I cant thank you enough! And I will not go anywhere else for tire/rim service.

Few months ago, I ran over something at night on the bronx river(no clue what it was) and had both my right side rims and 1 tire damaged. After much research i gave the Wheel Doctor a call and spoke to him about my issue, after which we made an appointment to come in. I went to his shop and worked on my laptop while he went to work on my tires. A bit after he was working on my rims, he noticed some cracks. He eventually told me that it didnt make sense for him to fix(which he was very up front about during our initial call) them as he noticed one had a crack and figured the other would too, although not visible and the problem may persist again in the future which was dangerous. He didnt charge me for labor, but i left feeling like he truly cared for my well being and i appreciated how straight up and honest he was. He ended up mounting the wheels back and even replaced the tire with a bubble. I highly recommend him and while no cheap, he will charge you appropriately for his time.

Bent two wheels because of a huge rock while driving on the highway (glad I didnt blow out a tire). One shop told me to just buy pre-owned wheels online. But I considered just getting them fixed since it will be cheaper. The Wheel Doctor is a phenomenal place to get your broken wheel fixed. The reviews speak for themselves. Quality work for a fair price. Derrick was very thorough with explaining everything and he takes pride in his work. This shop is a hidden gem where someone takes care of your car like it was their own. So if youre looking around for a shop, please consider going here first and talking to him. Itll be worth your while.

Do not recomend this place wanted to charge me 350 to weld a cracked rim that wasnt even bent had inch crack said would take 3.5 hours and couldnt get a new rim for that price like he basing his price on a new rim . Rip offs shop around . Shop looked very slow like nothing going on. Place sucks

Wow...now that was a mouth full. I should have known this was coming. Your rude, vulgar actions at my shop yesterday afternoon and your perfect command of the English language (that has got to be the longest run-on sentence I've ever seen in my life!) tells me and anyone reading this exactly the kind of person you are. Folks, get some popcorn and sit back, this is going to be a good one.Yesterday afternoon, two men walk into my shop. One holding a wheel with a crack (our english major from above) and his friend (seemed to be a good guy). I look at the cracked wheel and also notice it's bent (I see what others don't because this is what I do all day long, and cracked wheels are always bent...straightening them after welding is included in my price). I tell our scholar that this type of repair will take me 3.5 hrs. to complete...those of you that had this repair done by me and stuck around can attest to this. He asked what I charge and I told him $350. He exploded. He proceeded to call me every curse word known with saliva spewing from his mouth as each one was pronounced. I stayed cool, and when he paused I injected that it takes a long time for me to weld a wheel and return it to you in a condition where you would be hard pressed to tell whether it was welded at all. If you have ever been to my shop and met me you know that quality and giving you value is number one. If it takes a long time to do that, so be it. This is why I can offer a lifetime warranty on my welds which no other shop can.He continued hurling expletives at me and told me that he could weld too. So why not do that instead of coming to my shop and cursing me out? lol..you just cannot make this stuff up. He left in a huff.I know what you want, you want someone to weld your wheel for $85. I don't have a problem with you wanting that because that is your prerogative. Go find that shop/person but it will not be me...I cannot deliver a safe, functioning wheel to you at that price because of the time it takes me to complete it, and I won't. There are plenty of people/shops around that will do the low quality, low price work that i'm sure your used to.The Wheel Doctor
