River Tides at Greystone

I just renewed my lease and am looking forward to many more happy years at River Tides. I moved here from the city last year, and it was the best move I ever made! I love living in this beautiful community, it's the most well managed building I've ever lived in. The onsite management is first-rate, with Danielle and Nilda always happy to help with any issues. Gerson the super really is extra super, as is the entire maintenance staff. Marcus and the front desk staff always go above and beyond, and the cleaning staff keeps the building looking sparkling and spiffy. Living at River Tides is really like a combination of a luxury hotel and comfortable home. I still have to pinch myself when I look out my windows at the panoramic view of the Hudson. I can even see bald eagles hunting for fish from the Palisades across the river! The lovely Old Croton Aqueduct Trail is right across the street and I've walked the entire 26.2 miles of the Westchester portion many times (not all at once!). I also love having the gorgeous Untermyer Gardens a short walk away as well as the more wild and beautiful Lenoir Preserve. And of course on cold and rainy days, the gym at River Tides is spectacular. I also enjoy the free weekend yoga classes with Crystal. Memorial Day is just around the corner, and I'm looking forward to the outdoor pool reopening. The pool is always clean and well maintained, it's a great place to just chill and read a book on a lazy summer day. When I lived in the city I always tried to figure out ways to get away, but now I look forward to my home vacation. I still work in the city, but the commute is so easy by car and train. Every time I arrive back home at River Tides, I feel the weight of the city is left behind. All around, River Tides is a fabulous place to live, and I'm thankful every day for having moved here!

I just moved in two weeks ago. I absolutely love this place! Danielle (leasing manager) and Gerson (super) have been unbelievably supportive and responsive!!! There is consistent communication. It is a quiet area, but close to good restaurants, grocery stores, urgent care, etc. The amenities are insane! I left the city and lived in a great building, but given the space, amenities, and support, you can't beat the price! There is a path to bring you to the Hudson line metro-north if you need to commute to the city..

After 4+ years I had to say farewell to this community. Rivertides has been all around awesome in every way - cleaning, communication, safety etc. Thank you Danielle and Nilda for your professionalism, kindness and support. Marcus and team for being on point and helpful during my times of need, Gerson and team for willingness to help or guide. I will miss you all.

We moved to River Tides four years ago. Downsizing from a house to an apartment at River Tides was made seamless. The apartments and the views of the Hudson River and Palisades are spectacular. Going to Manhattan via Metro North could not be easier since there is a path from River Tides to Greystone Station. For those of us who love to take long walks, access to the Old Croton Aqueduct is directly across the street. River Tides offers great amenities, including an outdoor pool overlooking the Hudson River and a Fitness Center. Special thanks to the property manager, Nilda Laborde, who is extremely helpful and attentive to the needs and concerns of the residents. Gerson, the super and Marcus, the head concierge, are always willing to help and attentive to the requests of the residents. The leasing manager, Danielle, has always been helpful and approachable when it is time to renew our lease. Great place to live!

You just know it from the moment you walk in the door at River Tides. We certainly did, and if it seemed risky to some for us to sign a years lease on an apartment we wouldnt see until move-in day, it didnt feel that way to us. Our faith was born out, in every way. How is it that you can enter a diner or a fancy restaurant, a grand hotel or roadside motel, and feel instantly happy to be there? You can list the elements, as most websites do: location, amenities, and the various services offered. But in the age of marketing via Instagram and other platforms, well-staged lobby photographs and artful copy are often more than flatteringthey can be deceptive. River Tides doesnt disappoint. The people who keep things running are attentive and eager to be helpful, the place is designed to make daily life as easy as possible, and yes, it is a community of remarkably friendly tenants. If it feels good from the start it gets better as you meet your neighbors, take the train into the city from the stop a short path down the hill, and first use the excellent gym and lovely lounge that share views of the Hudson River and the cliffs of the Palisades that can (accurately) be described as spectacular. And though weve only been to Hastings a few times in these first weeks, its a great town to have so close by. It's cold and wintry now, but with public gardens and parks and greenery--and the swimming poolits easy to see why so many people who welcome you here say Wait until Spring. Were looking forward to it, but even in this chilly grey week this is a lovely place to be. T hese are first impressions, but like every single one of the numerous tenants we have spoken with, we love being here. As I wrote, you just know it from the moment you walk in.
