Very costly lesson. I scheduled surgery with Dr rigan. After reading his reviews I became very nervous. I canceled the surgery. Dr rigan would not refund any of 1200.00 I paid. I met him twice for 10 minutes each time....he could have at least refunded half. On top of this...they charged 3% for credit card charges which they didn't bother to mention over the phone. When I mentioned it it later ..they had nothing to say. They overcharged me 300 and I still haven't gotten that back.

I was referred to rigan, so i called and was inquiring about a consult, for possible removal and other adjustments of prior augmentation... however the lady on the phone was very dissmissive and told me to return to my original surgeon from 11 years ago....apparently you cant seek solutions from different surgeons. Quite silly, but thought it was aggrivating...

Dr. Rigan didnt say one word to me the day I went in for my procedure. He never explained what he was going to be doing or what I should expect afterwards. The nurse was pleasant but he on the other hand is not friendly at all and I think thats very unprofessional. The whole process just seemed rushed. Almost like they couldnt push me out of the back door fast enough. He made me feel extremely uncomfortable and I will not go back to him for anything.

I would rate him zero if it was an option. I went to Dr. Rigan for a Mohs procedure. His nurse made it extremely difficult for me to schedule to the procedure. On top of that, Dr. Rigan told me he didnt think it was necessary. I let him talk me into a regular proceed. The day of surgery, he didnt say a single word to me. Not good morning not good bye. Nothing. Completely silent during the entire procedure. Which I felt was very rude and unprofessional. I received a call 2 weeks later that he didnt get all of it and that I need to come back it. I was so furious that I started looking into other doctors so I could do the mohs procedure. Only to find out that Dr. Rigan isnt certified to perform that process. So my question is, why would he misrepresent his practice by telling me he does mohs surgery? I would never recommend this lying cheat of a surgeon.
