        I'm a 77YO amateur painter who struggled for years, to make my paintings look somehow better by framing them. Big failure! It was truly eye opening the first time I walked into Vern's gallery / frame shop and with his years of experience, he walked to the wall of sample frames, laid a sample corner over my painting and immediately my painting looked as I had always hoped my past attempts would. What's more, and this should never be the criteria for getting something professionally framed, I saved money over my previous weak attempts at what Vern's many years of experience AND talent produced.
