Dr Gordon treated my wife for an emergency surgery at White Plains Hospital. We feel he is the most thorough, informative and most compassionate doctor we have ever met. We will always be eternally grateful.

I really did not want to write this. The last thing I want is to have to speak negatively about a practitioner in the community. But it has to be done. I am so disappointed with Dr. Gordon. He performed a procedure for a very small ventral hernia without mesh. Ive had some complications and he couldnt be any less concerned or helpful. I finally got him to order an ultrasound to see whats going on he never even called me to go over the results. There was also another finding on the CAT scan that I had when I went into the emergency room because I was in extreme pain and he refused to order me a CAT scan (or even return my call). There was a finding that is related to my heart that he didnt even catch because all he was concerned about is that his precious stitches were closed. I would not recommend this doctor to anybody. My life has been completely altered since the hernia repair. Im in constant pain both at the repair site and my entire core is compromised and he doesnt have any interest in helping me in any way. No follow up to see how I am feeling either. I got mixed messages after the procedure about activities I could perform and all he wanted to do was point the finger and blame me for any possible issues with the repair, although any activities that I performed were well within the scope of what I was told I could do. Additionally, there were other things he couldve done both during and after the procedure that probably would have yielded a better result. I also felt that I was blocked from getting in touch with him by his office staff who knew I was struggling. Life altering mistake that I will have to now deal with for the rest of my life. Take care of your patients, Dr. Gordon, even the ones who have complications. Stay away from this surgeon.
