The staff at EastRidge are incredibly caring, respectful, and passionate about what they do. The teachers engage the kids in meaningful activities every day, and our kids are always excited to share what new things they have learned! The facility is kept clean and the staff did an excellent job at maintaining enhanced cleaning protocols during the pandemic. I would highly recommend the EastRidge center.

Cant say enough about Eastridge/Bright Horizons and the team. We have two kids here and are so grateful for the wonderful care and education they get. The management team has also been so helpful and accommodating for us, particularly going above and beyond as we were navigating some challenges with New Yorks special education ecosystem.

Our daughter has been thriving at Eastridge since the first day she stepped foot in the building. Every single person in the school cares not only about each and every child, but also about each family and it shows. They always put the needs of the children and their safety first. We toured schools all across Westchester before enrolling our daughter and are reminded every day when we see our baby girl that we made the right decision. The director does a fantastic job!
(Also, I noticed theres a review on here from a family who was trying to breach the schools security protocols to view an area that students were in. Im so glad the director put the safety of our kids first and didnt allow them to go through classrooms and places where our kids were playing - just so that they can tour the building. Shame on that family for thinking their desire to tour is more important than the safety of our children. Im proud to be a parent of Eastridge.)

Eastridge is quite simply, the best.
Somehow, even through the pandemic, they have managed to attract, train, and retain phenomenal staff (So far, weve had Anna, Imani, Marcia, Lupe, Angela, Shelby, Yvette, Brenda, Maha, Kaitlin, and all of their floating staffyou cannot go wrong in these classrooms, from infancy on up). The food is varied and nutritious and looks delicious. The facility is spotless. The activities are clever and fun and developmentally appropriate. The teachers clearly love our kidsI think they are as pumped for my kids' language development and toileting as I am at home. My sons teacher created targeted lessons to address some of his OT challenges, and even wrote a letter on his behalf to the special education committee to support his services. My daughters teachers partnered with us on potty-training at just 20 months, and with their support, she is crushing it. Her teachers have created a really beautiful classroom community (so many group hugs and dance parties!) that lets her open up and explore in her own way.
Administration could not be better. Michelle, Roslyn, and Nicole are a well-oiled machine, and bend over backwards to accommodate even my most ridiculous requests (e.g. potty training at 20 months) while maintaining a safe, healthy, fun environment for the whole community. Communication is warm and efficient. If there is a rule or policy, they explain the reasoning thoroughly and provide plenty of opportunities for questions and feedback.
Meanwhile, they actively spend time in classrooms, so they know my kids personally. Having administrators who go into the classrooms to help our kids make and taste their first pudding, or hold their hands while they are dancing to songs, or encouraging them to try a new activity - it makes all the difference when navigating the early intervention process. Because they know my children, they can speak to challenges during the day, make connections with providers that work with the center, offer suggestions about things we might want to try at home. They were incredibly flexible and supportive as we vetted and coordinated with providers, and provided actionable feedback for assessments. They have been extraordinarily generous with their time and have personally supported our children at every step of the way.
My son has since moved on to a special education program, and I literally cried to move him. Michelle helped comfort my nerves by connecting me personally with one of her contacts at the new school, and reminding me that my son always had a place at Eastridge if we werent happy there. Im happy to say that the transition has gone well, but he still insists on using a nickname he received from Roslyn over a year ago and visits his teachers regularly when we pick up his sister.
You cannot make a better choice than Eastridge. We hope to be part of the family for a long time.

Just toured the center in person and had a very unpleasant experience. During the whole process, the director is showing a rude and slobbish attitude. When asked to give a tour to the outdoor playground, she refused and asked us to check pictures online by ourselves.But what is the purpose to take the time off from work to tour in person. Totally waste of time and can not image how our kids will be treated by daycare leaded by such a director.
